The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the DeKalb Barbs (DeKalb, IL) and the visiting Neuqua Valley Wildcats (Naperville, IL), observed DeKalb's basketball team knock off Neuqua Valley by a score of 61-50.

The Barbs (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Metea Valley (Aurora, IL). The Mustangs come into the DuPage Valley challenge with a 9-5 record. In their last challenge, Metea Valley was knocked off by Naperville Central (Naperville, IL), 64-54, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Wildcats encounter the Naperville North Huskies (Naperville, IL) in a DuPage Valley challenge, on Friday, January 10. Neuqua Valley will attempt to improve on its 7-7 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 9-7 record after their 59-43 league loss to Waubonsie Valley (Aurora, IL).
