In Friday's league contest, the visiting DeKalb Barbs basketball team scored a good 54-34 triumph over the Neuqua Valley Wildcats.
The Barbs (22-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Danville (Danville, IL). The Vikings come into the non-league challenge with a 8-17 record. In their last challenge, Danville prevailed over Tolono Unity (Tolono, IL), 76-69, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Wildcats encounter the Pecatonica Indians (Pecatonica, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 15. Neuqua Valley will attempt to improve on its 17-12 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 26-0 record after their 89-22 league win over Durand (Durand, IL).
