The Marmaduke Greyhounds basketball squad (Marmaduke, AR), was nudged 46-45 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting East Poinsett County Warriors (Lepanto, AR)

With the victory, East Poinsett County advances its record to 10-3 on the year. The Warriors host Riverside (Lake City, AR) to meet the Rebels in a 2A Region 3 battle on Friday, January 10. The Rebels enter the battle with a record of 17-3.

The Greyhounds now own a 10-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Corning for a 2A Region 3 battle on Friday, January 10.
