In Tuesday's league contest, the host Red River Roughriders basketball team scored a good 81-69 triumph over the Fargo North Spartans.

The Roughriders (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Sheyenne (West Fargo, ND). The Mustangs go into the AA East contest with a 1-8 record. In their last contest, Sheyenne was topped by Moorhead (Moorhead, MN), 76-61, in a non-league contest.
