The Red River Roughriders (Grand Forks, ND) basketball were winner over the host Fargo North Spartans (Fargo, ND), 90-70 in Friday's league bout.

The Roughriders now possess a 13-4 record. They play next when they travel to Moorhead for a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 11. Red River will play a Spuds team coming off a 80-69 league win over Elk River (Elk River, MN). The Spuds record now stands at 14-5.

With the loss, Fargo North falls to 6-11 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Fargo Davies (Fargo, ND) to play the Eagles in a AA East bout on Friday, February 14. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 12-3.
