In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host North East Grape Pickers basketball team scored a good 64-44 triumph over the General McLane Lancers.

The Grape Pickers (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Girard (Girard, PA). The Yellowjackets go into the District 10 Region 6 contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Girard topped Northwestern (Albion, PA), 69-34, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Lancers confront the Iroquois Braves (Erie, PA) in a District 10 Region 6 contest, on Friday, January 10. General McLane will attempt to better on its 3-7 season record. The Braves go into the contest with a 2-8 record after their 65-52 league loss to Harbor Creek (Harborcreek, PA).
