Louisiana High School Basketball - Montgomery bests Grant

The Montgomery Tigers (Montgomery, LA) basketball toppled the visiting Grant Cougars (Dry Prong, LA), 60-51 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Tigers now possess a 7-9 record. They play next when they travel to Caldwell Parish for a non-league bout on Thursday, January 9. Montgomery will play a Spartans team coming off a 45-26 non-league win over Harrisonburg (Harrisonburg, LA). The Spartans record now stands at 8-9.

With the loss, Grant falls to 5-17 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Georgetown (Georgetown, LA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 9. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 16-6. Georgetown won 79-45 in their recent non-league bout against Forest (Forest, LA)
