The Iowa Park Hawks basketball team scored 48 points and limited the visiting Holliday Eagles to 43 in the Hawks league triumph on Tuesday.

The Hawks (14-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Vernon (Vernon, TX). The Lions come into the 3A Region I District 7 challenge with a 11-5 record. In their last challenge, Vernon was tipped by Bowie (Bowie, TX), 37-29, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Jacksboro Tigers (Jacksboro, TX) in a 3A Region I District 7 challenge, on Friday, January 10. Holliday will attempt to better on its 16-7 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 13-5 record after their 52-46 league loss to City View (Wichita Falls, TX).
