The McCollum Cowboys basketball squad (San Antonio, TX), was crushed 97-25 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Jay Mustangs (San Antonio, TX)

With the victory, Jay advances its record to 22-2 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Southwest (San Antonio, TX) to meet the Dragons in a 5A Region IV District 28 battle on Friday, January 10. The Dragons enter the battle with a record of 16-9. Southwest won 57-46 in their recent league battle against McCollum (San Antonio, TX)

The Cowboys now own a 10-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southside for a 5A Region IV District 28 battle on Friday, January 10. McCollum will meet a Cardinals squad coming off a 78-40 league loss to Southwest Legacy (Von Ormy, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-15.
