The Seymour Warriors basketball team scored 78 points and limited the host Mormon Trail Saints to 64 in the Warriors league triumph on Tuesday.

The Warriors now possess a 6-3 record. They play next when they host Melcher-Dallas for a Bluegrass game on Friday, January 10. Seymour will play a Saints team coming off a 95-29 league loss to Ankeny Christian Academy (Ankeny, IA). The Saints record now stands at 0-9.

With the loss, Mormon Trail falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Saints travel to Lamoni (Lamoni, IA) to play the Demons in a Bluegrass match on Friday, January 10. The Demons enter the match with a record of 1-7. Lamoni lost 38-34 in their recent league match against Moulton-Udell (Moulton, IA)
