3:07 River Valley Boys Varsity Basketball Team Highlight

California High School Basketball - Nevada Union holds off River Valley

January 7, 2025: Grass Valley, CA 95945

The Nevada Union Miners basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting River Valley Falcons to 52 in the Miners league triumph on Tuesday.

The Miners now possess a 12-5 record. They play next when they travel to Del Campo for a Foothill Valley game on Thursday, January 9. Nevada Union will confront a Cougars team coming off a 72-54 league loss to Placer (Auburn, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 7-8.

With the loss, River Valley falls to 6-8 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Twelve Bridges (Lincoln, CA) to confront the Raging Rhinos in a Foothill Valley game on Thursday, January 9. The Raging Rhinos go into the game with a record of 12-4. Twelve Bridges lost 73-60 in their recent non-league game against Casa Roble (Orangevale, CA)
