Next, the Royals encounter the Booneville Blue Devils (Booneville, MS) in a non-league test, on Thursday, January 9. New Site will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record. The Blue Devils come into the test with a 12-4 record after their 84-52 league win over Alcorn Central (Glen, MS).

The Rebels (9-9) will now prepare for their test against Myrtle (Myrtle, MS). The Hawks come into the non-league test with a 3-12 record. In their last test, Myrtle went down by Ingomar (New Albany, MS), 66-39, in a non-league test.
