The Turner County Titans nipped the host Wheeler County Bulldogs basketball squad by a final score of 76-72 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
Next, the Titans face the Atkinson County Rebels (Pearson, GA) in a A D2 Region 2 outing, on Friday, January 10. Turner County will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record. The Rebels enter the outing with a 3-8 record after their 58-41 league loss to Clinch County (Homerville, GA).
The Bulldogs (3-6) will now prepare for their outing against Hawkinsville (Hawkinsville, GA). The Red Devils enter the A D2 Region 4 outing with a 5-6 record. In their last outing, Hawkinsville got by Telfair County (McRae, GA), 76-66, in a league outing.
