The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Turner County Titans (Ashburn, GA) and the visiting Wheeler County Bulldogs (Alamo, GA), observed Turner County's basketball team edge Wheeler County by a score of 58-51.
The Titans (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Charlton County (Folkston, GA). The Indians come into the A D2 Region 2 challenge with a 2-8 record. In their last challenge, Charlton County was tipped by Glynn Academy (Brunswick, GA), 58-51, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Bulldogs encounter the Treutlen Vikings (Soperton, GA) in a A D2 Region 4 bout, on Saturday, January 4. Wheeler County will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record.
