Next, the Bulldogs clash with the Decatur Eagles (Decatur, TX) in a non-league test, on Friday, January 10. Burkburnett will attempt to upgrade on its 22-3 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 22-3 record after their 86-27 non-league win over Springtown (Springtown, TX).

The Lions (6-17) will now prepare for their test against Lake Worth (Lake Worth, TX). The Bullfrogs come into the 4A Region I District 7 test with a 14-11 record. In their last test, Lake Worth was overwhelmed by Bridgeport (Bridgeport, TX), 65-27, in a league test.
