Kansas High School Basketball - Derby overwhelms Valley Center

January 7, 2025: Valley Center, KS 67147

The Derby Panthers basketball team scored 67 points and limited the host Valley Center Hornets to 36 in the Panthers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Panthers now possess a 5-1 record. They play next when they host Southeast for a non-league game on Saturday, January 11. Derby will confront a Golden Buffalo team coming off a 55-43 league win over South (Wichita, KS). The Golden Buffalo record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, Valley Center falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to South (Wichita, KS) to confront the Titans in a non-league game on Friday, January 10. The Titans go into the game with a record of 2-3.
