Kansas High School Basketball - Derby routs Valley Center

February 4, 2025: Derby, KS 67037

In Tuesday's league contest, the host Derby Panthers basketball team scored a big 59-27 triumph over the Valley Center Hornets.

With the victory, Derby advances its record to 12-2 on the year. The Panthers travel to Eisenhower (Goddard, KS) to meet the Tigers in a non-league battle on Friday, February 7. The Tigers enter the battle with a record of 4-9. Eisenhower lost 49-47 in their recent league battle against Arkansas City (Arkansas City, KS)

The Hornets now own a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Haysville Campus for a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail I battle on Friday, February 7. Valley Center will meet a Colts squad coming off a 50-29 league loss to South (Salina, KS). The Colts record now stands at 3-10.
