The George Washington Eagles basketball team scored 46 points and limited the host Halifax County Comets to 39 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.

With the loss, Halifax County falls to 4-9 on the campaign. The Comets host Martinsville (Martinsville, VA) to confront the Bulldogs in a Piedmont game on Thursday, January 9. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 5-5.
