Washington High School Basketball - Liberty triumphant over Upper Columbia Academy

The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Liberty Lancers (Spangle, WA) and the host Upper Columbia Academy Lions (Spangle, WA), observed Liberty's basketball team overwhelm Upper Columbia Academy by a score of 65-18.
The Lancers (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna (Ritzville, WA). The Broncos come into the 2B Bi-County challenge with a 7-4 record. In their last challenge, Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna trounced Medical Lake (Medical Lake, WA), 55-32, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Lions encounter the Freeman Scotties (Rockford, WA) in a 2B Bi-County challenge, on Thursday, January 9. Upper Columbia Academy will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Scotties come into the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 59-41 non-league win over Warden (Warden, WA).
