In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Dakota Cougars basketball team scored a good 58-50 triumph over the Chippewa Valley Big Reds.

The Cougars (6-0) will now prepare for their contest against Roseville (Roseville, MI). The Panthers go into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record.

In their next game, the Big Reds confront the Lincoln Abes (Warren, MI) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 9. Chippewa Valley will attempt to better on its 6-1 season record.
