Nebraska High School Basketball - Heartland tipped by Cross County

The Cross County Cougars basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Heartland Huskies to 51 in the Cougars league triumph on Saturday.

The Cougars now sport a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Twin River for a C2 District 8 contest on Thursday, January 13.

The Huskies (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Superior (Superior, NE). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 1-10 record. In their last contest, Superior was nudged by Fillmore Central (Geneva, NE), 66-45, in a non-league contest.
