South Gate Rams (South Gate, CA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Huntington Park Spartans (Huntington Park, CA), 69-36 in a league bout.

With the win, South Gate upgrades its record to 5-10 on the season. The Rams travel to Roosevelt (Los Angeles, CA) to clash with the Rough Riders in a Eastern bout on Wednesday, January 10. The Rough Riders go into the bout with a record of 8-8. Roosevelt lost 60-48 in their recent non-league bout against Salesian (Los Angeles, CA)

Next up, the Spartans clash with the Garfield Bulldogs (Los Angeles, CA) in a Eastern bout, on Wednesday, January 10. Huntington Park will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 11-2 record after their 63-42 league win over South East (South Gate, CA).
