The Sandy Spring Friends Wildebeests (Sandy Spring, MD) basketball crushed the host Model Secondary School for the Deaf Eagles (Washington, DC), 76-26 in Monday's league test.
The Wildebeests (11-5) will now prepare for their test against St. Anselm's Abbey (Washington, DC). The Panthers go into the Potomac Valley test with a 1-7 record. In their last test, St. Anselm's Abbey was trounced by Georgetown Day (Washington, DC), 50-20, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to California School for the Deaf for a non-league test on Thursday, January 11. Model Secondary School for the Deaf will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 85-42 league loss to Cornerstone Christian (Antioch, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-9.
