The Panthers now possess a 3-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tishomingo County for a 4A Region 1 battle on Tuesday, January 9. Amory will confront a Braves team coming off a 56-39 non-league loss to Callaway (Jackson, MS). The Braves record now stands at 13-3.

The Red Raiders (7-10) will now prepare for their battle against Itawamba Agricultural (Fulton, MS). The Indians come into the 4A Region 1 battle with a 11-5 record. In their last battle, Itawamba Agricultural beat Ripley (Ripley, MS), 76-48, in a league battle.
