The Shannon Red Raiders topped the visiting Amory Panthers basketball team by a final score of 46-34 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Red Raiders face the Tishomingo County Braves (Iuka, MS) in a 4A Region 1 game, on Wednesday, February 7. Shannon will attempt to move on its 9-15 season record. The Braves enter the game with a 20-3 record after their 55-34 non-league win over Biggersville (Corinth, MS).

With the defeat, Amory moves to 4-22 on the year.
