The Dwight Trojans basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Roanoke-Benson Rockets to 38 in the Trojans league triumph on Monday.

The Trojans now sport a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Reed-Custer for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 10. Dwight will battle a Comets team coming off a 46-32 league loss to Lisle (Lisle, IL). The Comets record now stands at 9-10.

The Rockets (3-18) will now prepare for their contest against Putnam County (Granville, IL). The Panthers enter the Tri-County contest with a 15-6 record. In their last contest, Putnam County was defeated by Seneca (Seneca, IL), 45-37, in a league contest.
