The Marquette Crusaders basketball team (Ottawa, IL), dropped 55-47 in Monday's league battle with the host St. Bede Bruins (Peru, IL)
The Bruins now possess a 14-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dwight for a Tri-County battle on Thursday, January 11. St. Bede will confront a Trojans team coming off a 42-31 non-league win over Reed-Custer (Braidwood, IL). The Trojans record now stands at 8-10.
The Crusaders (7-5) will now prepare for their battle against Seneca (Seneca, IL). The Fighting Irish come into the Tri-County battle with a 12-10 record. In their last battle, Seneca beat Henry-Senachwine (Henry, IL), 63-31, in a league battle.
