Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Minford Falcons (Minford, OH) and the host South Webster Jeeps (South Webster, OH), saw Minford's basketball squad hold off South Webster by a tally of 45-42.
With the victory, Minford improves its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Falcons host Portsmouth West (West Portsmouth, OH) to confront the Senators in a Southern Ohio III challenge on Thursday, January 11. The Senators come into the challenge with a record of 10-2. Portsmouth West won 62-19 in their recent league challenge against Valley (Lucasville, OH)
Next up, the Jeeps confront the Waverly Tigers (Waverly, OH) in a Southern Ohio III challenge, on Thursday, January 11. South Webster will attempt to improve on its 8-4 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 35-32 league loss to Wheelersburg (Wheelersburg, OH).
