The St. Croix Prep Lions basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting New Life Academy Eagles to 33 in the Lions non-league triumph on Monday.

The Lions now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mounds Park Academy/Gentry Academy for a AA Section 4 contest on Wednesday, January 10. St. Croix Prep will battle a team coming off a 58-47 non-league win over Breck (Minneapolis, MN). The record now stands at 3-3.

The Eagles (11-3) will now prepare for their contest against St. Agnes (St. Paul, MN). The Aggies enter the non-league contest with a 12-2 record. In their last contest, St. Agnes triumphed over Christ's Household of Faith (St. Paul, MN), 68-35, in a non-league contest.
