In Friday's non-league outing, the St. Croix Prep Lions (Stillwater, MN) basketball squad overwhelmed the host New Life Academy Eagles (Woodbury, MN), by a margin of 78-40.

The Lions (20-5) will now prepare for their outing against St. Croix Lutheran (West St. Paul, MN). The Crusaders go into the AA Section 4 outing with a 17-7 record.

The Eagles now own a 20-7 record. They play next when they host Christ's Household of Faith for a A Section 4 outing on Saturday, February 10. New Life Academy will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 45-39 non-league loss to Highland Park (St. Paul, MN). The Lions record now stands at 8-11.
