The Salem Academy Crusaders basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting Santiam Wolverines to 33 in the Crusaders league triumph on Wednesday.

The Crusaders now possess a 10-2 record. They play next when they host Gervais for a 2A Tri-River game on Friday, January 10. Salem Academy will confront a Cougars team coming off a 79-21 non-league loss to Sisters (Sisters, OR). The Cougars record now stands at 0-8.

With the loss, Santiam falls to 5-6 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Delphian (Sheridan, OR) to confront the Dragons in a 2A Tri-River game on Friday, January 10. The Dragons go into the game with a record of 1-3.
