New Jersey High School Basketball - Barnegat can't hold off Absegami

The Absegami Braves basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Barnegat Bengals to 55 in the Braves non-league triumph on Monday.
The Braves now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pleasantville for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 11. Absegami will battle a Greyhounds team coming off a 69-41 league win over Buena (Buena, NJ). The Greyhounds record now stands at 5-7.
Next up, the Bengals play the Manchester Township Hawks (Lakehurst, NJ) in a Shore B - South bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Barnegat will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record.
