The Hershey Panthers (Hershey, NE) basketball felled the visiting South Loup (Arnold, NE), 56-48 in Monday's non-league test.
The Panthers (5-6) will now prepare for their test against Sutherland (Sutherland, NE). The Sailors go into the C2 District 11 test with a 0-6 record. In their last test, Sutherland was beaten by Perkins County (Grant, NE), 65-43, in a non-league test.
The now own a 8-2 record. They play next when they host Maxwell for a non-league test on Friday, January 13. South Loup will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 56-18 non-league loss to Maywood/Hayes Center (Maywood, NE). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-8.
