The Martin Luther Spartans basketball team scored 77 points and restricted the visiting The Prairie School Hawks to 63 in the Spartans league victory on Monday.

The Spartans now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shoreland Lutheran for a Metro Classic contest on Tuesday, January 10. Martin Luther will battle a Pacers team coming off a 53-41 league loss to St. Joseph (Kenosha, WI). The Pacers record now stands at 5-4.

The Hawks (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Racine Lutheran (Racine, WI). The Crusaders come into the Metro Classic contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Racine Lutheran dropped by St. Catherine's (Racine, WI), 88-37, in a league contest.
