The Pima Roughriders basketball team scored 83 points and held the visiting Santa Rita Eagles to 15 in the Roughriders league triumph on Monday.
The Roughriders now sport a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valley Christian for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 10. Pima will meet a Trojans team coming off a 81-50 non-league win over Holbrook (Holbrook, AZ). The Trojans record now stands at 17-1.
The Eagles (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Willcox (Willcox, AZ). The Cowboys enter the 2A East contest with a 7-11 record. In their last contest, Willcox triumphed over Tombstone (Tombstone, AZ), 65-52, in a league contest.
