West Virginia High School Basketball - Southern can't hold off Bridgeport

The Bridgeport Indians basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the visiting Southern Rams to 37 in the Indians non-league victory on Monday.
The Indians now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grafton for a Big Ten contest on Wednesday, January 11. Bridgeport will battle a Bearcats team coming off a 54-38 non-league win over Union (Mount Storm, WV). The Bearcats record now stands at 7-2.
The Rams (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Northern (Accident, MD). The Huskies come into the Appalachian Mountain contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Northern edged East Hardy (Baker, WV), 37-33, in a non-league contest.
