New York High School Basketball - Iroquois ripped by Starpoint

The Starpoint Spartans basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Iroquois Chiefs to 39 in the Spartans league triumph on Monday.
The Spartans now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Amherst Central for a Section 6 Erie County II contest on Thursday, January 12. Starpoint will battle a Tigers team coming off a 57-48 non-league win over Kenmore West (Buffalo, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 5-3.
The Chiefs (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Sweet Home (Amherst, NY). The Panthers enter the Section 6 Erie County II contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Sweet Home was routed by Hamburg (Hamburg, NY), 53-43, in a league contest.
