New York High School Basketball - Iroquois knocked off by Starpoint

The Starpoint Spartans basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Iroquois Chiefs to 41 in the Spartans league triumph on Thursday.
The Spartans now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grand Island for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 4.
The Chiefs (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Sweet Home (Amherst, NY). The Panthers enter the Section 6 Erie County II contest with a 10-6 record. In their last contest, Sweet Home was outscored by Hamburg (Hamburg, NY), 67-55, in a league contest.
