In Monday's league outing, the Mercer Mustangs (Mercer, PA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Jamestown Muskies (Jamestown, PA), by a count of 49-23.

The Mustangs (5-4) will now prepare for their outing against Reynolds (Greenville, PA). The Raiders go into the District 10 Region 1 outing with a 3-8 record. In their last outing, Reynolds was crushed by West Middlesex (West Middlesex, PA), 47-18, in a league outing.

The Muskies now hold a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Meadville for a non-league outing on Wednesday, January 11. Jamestown will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 43-27 league loss to Hickory (Hermitage, PA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-6.
