In Monday's league match, the host Mercer Mustangs basketball team scored a decisive 55-21 triumph over the Jamestown Muskies.
In their next game, the Mustangs meet the Reynolds Raiders (Greenville, PA) in a District 10 Region 1 match, on Thursday, February 9. Mercer will attempt to move on its 10-8 season record. The Raiders enter the match with a 5-14 record after their 50-16 league loss to West Middlesex (West Middlesex, PA).
With the defeat, Jamestown moves to 3-13 on the year. The Muskies travel to Farrell (Farrell, PA) to meet the Steelers in a District 10 Region 1 match on Thursday, February 9. The Steelers enter the match with a record of 4-12.
