Match Summary
Just not our night. We were shot-less in this mercy-rule-shortened game, with the barrage of Mosley goals commencing in the 8th minute and putting us out of our misery by the 72nd minute. We gave them (what might have been a record of some sort) 11 corner kicks, while being unable to do much to stem their 18 shots on goal in 24 attempts (which was quite the opposite expectation after Coach Ashley noted that, at one stretch during warm-ups, she saw that only 2 of their 22 shots made the net...). Player of the Game went to Xava for her defensive work in nabbing 3 of our 7 steals for the contest--perhaps the one best positive aspect of our play this night.
