Ohio High School Basketball - Boardman succumbs to Austintown-Fitch

January 9, 2024: Youngstown, OH 44515

The Austintown-Fitch Falcons topped the visiting Boardman Spartans basketball team by a final score of 46-36 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Falcons face the Howland Tigers (Warren, OH) in a All-American game, on Friday, January 12. Austintown-Fitch will attempt to move on its 6-4 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 6-6 record after their 50-34 non-league win over Poland Seminary (Poland, OH).

With the defeat, Boardman moves to 3-8 on the year. The Spartans travel to Harding (Warren, OH) to face the Raiders in a All-American game on Friday, January 12. The Raiders enter the game with a record of 6-4. Harding lost 56-47 in their recent non-league game against South (Willoughby, OH)
