The Durfee Hilltoppers basketball team scored 71 points and held the host Brockton Boxers to 58 in the Hilltoppers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Hilltoppers now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dartmouth for a South East contest on Friday, January 12. Durfee will battle a Indians team coming off a 59-57 league win over New Bedford (New Bedford, MA). The Indians record now stands at 4-3.
The Boxers (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Bridgewater-Raynham (Bridgewater, MA). The Trojans go into the South East bout with a 4-4 record. In their last bout, Bridgewater-Raynham topped New Bedford (New Bedford, MA), 72-69, in a league bout.
