Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Durfee Hilltoppers (Fall River, MA) and the visiting Brockton Boxers (Brockton, MA), saw Durfee's basketball squad hold off Brockton by a tally of 60-56.

With the victory, Durfee improves its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers travel to Dartmouth (South Dartmouth, MA) to confront the Indians in a South East challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 9-6.

Next up, the Boxers confront the Bridgewater-Raynham Trojans (Bridgewater, MA) in a South East challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Brockton will attempt to improve on its 3-11 season record.
