Alabama High School Basketball - Cleburne County overwhelmed by Weaver

The Weaver Bearcats basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the host Cleburne County Tigers to 45 in the Bearcats non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Bearcats now sport a 11-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Piedmont for a 3A Area 11 contest on Thursday, January 11. Weaver will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 67-57 non-league loss to Jacksonville (Jacksonville, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-7.
The Tigers (11-8) will now prepare for their contest against Jacksonville (Jacksonville, AL). The Golden Eagles come into the 4A Area 10 contest with a 15-5 record. In their last contest, Jacksonville triumphed over Cherokee County (Centre, AL), 59-44, in a league contest.
