Meadowcreek Mustangs (Norcross, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Discovery Titans (Lawrenceville, GA), 63-51 in a league bout.

With the win, Meadowcreek upgrades its record to 5-10 on the season. The Mustangs host Peachtree Ridge (Suwanee, GA) to clash with the Lions in a AAAAAAA Region 7 bout on Friday, January 12. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 11-6. Peachtree Ridge won 65-54 in their recent league bout against Norcross (Norcross, GA)

Next up, the Titans clash with the Duluth Wildcats (Duluth, GA) in a AAAAAAA Region 7 bout, on Friday, January 12. Discovery will attempt to upgrade on its 2-14 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 6-11 record after their 50-47 league loss to Berkmar (Lilburn, GA).
