In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Fairview Tigers (Fairview, PA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Northwestern Wildcats (Albion, PA), by a margin of 55-24.

The Tigers (3-7) will now prepare for their outing against Slippery Rock (Slippery Rock, PA). The Rockets go into the District 10 Region 4 outing with a 7-4 record. In their last outing, Slippery Rock was trounced by Oil City (Oil City, PA), 47-40, in a non-league outing.

The Wildcats now own a 0-9 record. They play next when they travel to Seneca for a District 10 Region 3 outing on Friday, January 12. Northwestern will clash with a Bobcats squad coming off a 55-45 non-league loss to Iroquois (Erie, PA). The Bobcats record now stands at 2-9.
