In Friday's league outing, the Fairview Tigers (Fairview, PA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Northwestern Wildcats (Albion, PA), by a margin of 68-40.

The Tigers (7-11) will now prepare for their outing against Girard (Girard, PA). The Yellowjackets go into the District 10 Region 4 outing with a 16-2 record. In their last outing, Girard was trounced by Mercyhurst Prep (Erie, PA), 56-52, in a non-league outing.

The Wildcats now own a 0-16 record. They play next when they host Seneca for a District 10 Region 3 outing on Tuesday, February 6. Northwestern will clash with a Bobcats squad coming off a 60-53 non-league win over Iroquois (Erie, PA). The Bobcats record now stands at 5-13.
