Mars Hill Bible Panthers (Florence, AL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hatton Hornets (Town Creek, AL), 61-30 in a league bout.

With the win, Mars Hill Bible upgrades its record to 13-2 on the season. The Panthers travel to Wilson (Florence, AL) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 13. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 7-15.

Next up, the Hornets clash with the Lexington Golden Bears (Lexington, AL) in a 2A Area 16 bout, on Friday, January 12. Hatton will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Golden Bears go into the bout with a 5-9 record after their 58-50 league win over Sheffield (Sheffield, AL).
