Mississippi High School Basketball - Southeast Lauderdale knocked off by Kemper County

The Kemper County Wildcats basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Southeast Lauderdale Tigers to 47 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Enterprise for a 3A Region 5 contest on Friday, January 12. Kemper County will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 50-44 non-league loss to Union (Union, MS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-11.
The Tigers (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Leake Academy (Madden, MS). The Rebels enter the non-league contest with a 20-7 record. In their last contest, Leake Academy ran past Lamar (Meridian, MS), 50-28, in a league contest.
